?What everything means

Every feature, explained.

No jargon. What it is, what it does for you, and an example from a business like yours.

Every plan

The basics

Included in Starter, Business and Pro.

A custom website, built for phones first

A site designed around your business, not a template with your name dropped in. We build it for phones first, because that's where most of your customers will find you.

Real-world example

It's 7 PM and a homeowner in Prosper searches "sprinkler repair near me" on their phone. Your site loads quickly, shows what you fix and which towns you cover, and the call button is right under their thumb. A typical site has a homepage, a page for each main service, an about page and a contact page.

Tap-to-call and a quote form

A button that dials your phone with one tap, plus a short form for people who'd rather type than talk. Every request lands in your email.

Real-world example

Someone at work can't make a call, so they fill in the form: "Back fence gate won't latch, need it fixed this week. 75009." You see it on your phone and call them back on your lunch break.

Hosting, security and backups

All the technical pieces that keep a website online and safe. You never have to log in to anything.

Hosting
The computer your website lives on, so it's reachable 24/7.
SSL
The padlock in the address bar. Without it, Chrome warns visitors your site is "Not secure".
Daily backups
A copy of your whole site saved every night.
Uptime monitoring
An automatic check that alerts us if your site goes down, usually before you'd notice.

Real-world example

Your site goes down on a Sunday morning. We get the alert and fix it, then roll back to the previous night's backup if needed. Your photos and pages are all still there.

Your domain and DNS, handled

One wrong setting here can stop your email or take your site offline. We handle it, and the domain stays registered in your name.

Domain
Your web address, like acmeheating.com.
DNS
The settings that point that address at your website and your email.

Real-world example

You move your email over to Google Workspace. We update the DNS records so your email keeps arriving the whole time, with no gap and no lost messages.

Unlimited small edits by text

Text us a change and it's live within 1 business day. A small edit is anything that takes under 30 minutes. Send as many as you like.

Real-world example

"Change Saturday hours to 8 to 12." "Swap the homepage photo for this new truck pic." "Add Little Elm to our service area." "Put up a banner: closed Monday for Memorial Day." All small edits.

Not a small edit: a brand-new page for a service you just started, an online store, or a redesign. We'll send a quick quote first, so there are no surprise bills.

Business

Your Google presence

Business and Pro add everything that helps you get found on Google and look established.

Email at your own business name

An email like [email protected] instead of a Gmail or Yahoo address. It runs on Google, so it works exactly like the Gmail app you already use.

Real-world example

A homeowner gets two quotes. One comes from [email protected], the other from [email protected]. The second one looks like a business that'll still be around next year.

Google charges per person: $7 a month each on an annual plan, or $8.40 month-to-month (Business Starter, 2026 pricing). We set it up and manage it. Google bills you directly.

An online booking page

A link where customers pick an open time on your Google Calendar themselves. No more phone tag. Video calls through Google Meet are included if you need them.

Real-world example

At 11 PM, a client clicks the link in your Instagram bio and books a Tuesday 3 PM consultation. It goes straight onto your calendar with her name and number, and she gets a reminder email.

Your Google Business Profile, kept current

Your Google Business Profile is the box that shows up on Google Maps and on the right side of Google search: hours, photos, phone number and reviews. For local businesses it often gets more views than the website.

Real-world example

Each month we add fresh job photos, set holiday hours before the holiday, post a short update about what's in season, and fix anything Google changed on its own (it does that).

A review link and QR code

A link that opens the "leave a review" box on your Google listing in one tap, plus a printable QR code that does the same thing.

Real-world example

Your tech finishes a job and texts the customer: "Thanks for having us out! If we did good, a quick review helps a ton." The QR code goes on your invoices, your counter or a truck magnet.

A page for every town you serve

A separate page for each town, like "AC repair in Celina", so you show up when people include their town in the search.

Real-world example

acmeheating.com/celina talks about Celina specifically: the neighborhoods you cover, how quickly you can get there, and jobs you've done nearby. Someone searching "AC repair Celina TX" lands right on it.

Pro

Growth from search

Pro adds the ongoing work that brings in more calls every month.

Local SEO

SEO is the work that helps you show up higher on Google. For a local business it mostly comes down to three things.

Citations
Your business name, address and phone listed the same way everywhere online. Google trusts businesses that look consistent.
Directories
Sites like Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Nextdoor and the BBB.
Service pages
A dedicated page for each thing you do, instead of one long list.

Real-world example

We find your old Yelp listing that still shows your previous phone number and fix it. We add you to Apple Maps so iPhone users who ask Siri can find you. And "water heater replacement" gets its own page instead of one line on the services page.

A monthly report

One short email each month: how many people called from your site, how many filled out the form, and where you show up on Google for the searches that matter.

Real-world example

Example report: "September: 23 calls from the site, 9 quote requests. You moved from #8 to #4 for 'plumber Aubrey TX'. Next month we're adding a page for tankless water heaters."

A seasonal promo page each quarter

A page built around one offer, with its own link you can text to customers, post or advertise.

Landing page
A single page focused on one offer, with one button to act on it.

Real-world example

In March: a "Spring AC tune-up, $89" page you text to last year's customers and link from your Google profile. In October: a furnace check special.

Same-day edits

Your edits go to the front of the line and go live the same business day.

Real-world example

Hail rolls through Saturday night. Monday morning you text: "Add a banner: free storm damage inspections this week." It's up that afternoon, while people are still looking.

A quarterly check-in (optional)

Every three months, a short video call if you want one. Skip it any time.

Real-world example

We look at the last three months together: what brought in calls, what didn't, and what to promote next season.

VSWhy not just do it yourself?

You could. Here's the honest difference.

Wix, WordPress and AI builders are real options. The question is who does the work every month after the site goes up.

Do it yourself

Wix, Squarespace, AI builders

WordPress + a freelancer

Someone builds it, then it's yours to keep up

“Can't AI just build my site?”

AI can draft a page in minutes. What it won't do is keep your Google profile current, notice when your quote form stops sending, move your domain without breaking your email, or update your site when you text that your hours changed. That ongoing part is the real job.

When DIY is the right call

If you enjoy tinkering, you're just starting out and every dollar counts, or you only need one page that never changes, a DIY builder is a fine place to start. We'd rather tell you that than sell you something you don't need.

Spend your evenings on jobs, not your website.

§The fine print

No surprises.

No hidden fees, no long-term contract, no small print we'd be embarrassed to say out loud.

When do I start paying?
When your site launches. The preview is free, and you pay nothing if you decide not to go ahead.
What does the 6-month start mean?
Your first 6 months cover the work of designing and building your site. After that it's month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime.
How do I cancel?
Text us. No forms and no cancellation fee after your first 6 months.
What do I keep if I leave?
Your domain stays in your name, and we hand over your content and photos so you can take them anywhere.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Move up or down any month. If you start on Starter and later want the Google features, we add them.
What's not included?
Bigger one-off projects like an online store, a custom app or a full redesign are quoted separately. Logo design, printing and paid ads aren't part of the plans.
